The Takamatsu International Piano Competition Organizing Committee regrets to announce the postponement of the 5th Takamatsu International Piano Competition

While the pandemic of new coronavirus is expanding, we have been discussing the availability of holding the competition in March 2022. Unfortunately, the situation has been very serious and complex, and the strict border restrictions unable us to welcome the jury members and the contestants from overseas.

Given such current circumstances, we have decided that it would be difficult to hold the competition as scheduled and postpone it by one year to February 2023. In addition, the venue will be changed to Rexxam Hall (Kagawa Kenmin Hall) due to the closure of Sunport Hall Takamatsu, our original venue, for refurbishment.
