On June 24, School Visit Recitals were held with Shuhei Aoshima, the 2nd prize winner of the 5th Takamatsu International Piano Competition (TIPC).

Mr. Aoshima, who displayed his superb performance with the Takamatsu Symphony Orchestra on the previous day, visited Konan Elementary School and Shionoe Elementary School in Takamatsu City to play the piano for the school children. They enjoyed the live performance by a world-class pianist.

It was the first School Visit Recital for Mr. Aoshima and he carefully selected the pieces, hoping the children enjoy every piece.

After the performance, he took some questions from the children and had a good time friendly exchanging with them. The recitals ended with the respective school songs, the children singing along with his piano. It surely was a memorable day for the children in both schools as well as Mr. Aoshima.
