1. Selection Process
The Preliminary Selection will be conducted on the basis of the data and file submitted by the applicants and a video data recording (MP4, AVI, MOV or WMV) of the applicants performing the set pieces.

2. Repertoire for the Preliminary Selection
Applicants should select three pieces, one each from group (A), (B) and (C) listed below and record them as a video data file (MP4, AVI, MOV or WMV).
- (A) The first movement of Beethoven's sonata selected from the repertoire for Round 3.
※The first and second movements for Op. 101.
Please note that the same piece played for the Preliminary Selection may be played for Round 3. - (B) Chopin: one piece from either Etude Op. 10 or Op. 25
- (C) Bartók, Scriabin, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Stravinsky or Prokofiev: one piece from the Etudes
3. Notification of Results
The results of the Preliminary Selection will be sent to all applicants individually by November 5, 2025. Neither appeals nor objections will be accepted regarding the results.
※ Competition Consent Form for Competition Entry, other detailed information on the competition, and a score of the commissioned piece will be sent to the applicants who pass the Preliminary Selection.
